MAFWPA’s mission is to provide trusted, real-time updates on natural events and wildlife activity — including storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, wildfires, endangered species, and potential reappearances of animals once thought extinct. Our goal is to keep people informed, prepared, and connected to the natural world through facts, not fear.

MAFWPA serves as both a wildlife information agency and an environmental protection alert system. By combining scientific research, technology, and community engagement, we work to protect both animals and humans from the growing impacts of natural disasters and environmental change.
